چکیده

We present improvements of software development processes based on formalized functional requirements. Fundamental basis is a graphical formalism called simplified universal pattern allowing users to model requirements using the intrinsic nature of functional requirements specifying a trigger/action relation. The underlying graphical formalism enables to generate additional benefits to existing processes. In this paper we focus on two techniques: quantitative requirement consistency analysis and automatic test case generation for functional requirements.

A Method of Automatic Integration Test Case Generation from UML-based Scenario

One key to success for high quality enterprise information systems development is to validate the customers' requirements sufficiently at the early stage. Scenarios are an effective means to an end because they make it possible to represent various situations of system usage. Most scenarios are defined by using a natural language or such a formal language as Unified Modeling Language (UML) and ...

An automatic test case generator for evaluating implementation of access control policies

One of the main requirements for providing software security is the enforcement of access control policies which aim to protect resources of the system against unauthorized accesses. Any error in the implementation of such policies may lead to undesirable outcomes. For testing the implementation of access control policies, it is preferred to use automated methods which are faster and more relia...

Automatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach

Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...

Synthesis of High-Level Requirements Models for Automatic Test Generation

This paper describes research and development of techniques to support automatic generation of test cases for event-oriented, real-time embedded systems. A consistent suite of test scenarios can assure consistency at all levels of design activities. Although we have developed algorithms designed to generate test scenarios from statebased jiinctional requirements model, their applicability is se...
